Marvel Comics dominierte letztes Jahr die Verkaufscharts, aber die Preise heimste DC Comics ein. Der Verlag erhielt zehn der vom US-Großhändler vergebenen Preise. Gewählt wird traditionell von den Comic-Händlern, die bei Diamond ihre Ware beziehen.
In der wichtigen Kategorie "Verlag des Jahres" (Marktanteil über 4%) gewann DC ebenfalls wie in den Kategorien "Comic des Jahres mit einem Preis unter 3 Dollar" (BATMAN & ROBIN #1) sowie "Comic des Jahres mit einem Preis über 3 Dollar" (BLACKEST NIGHT #1).
